Group Finance Manager

The Practice
ASPECT Studios is a purpose-oriented landscape architecture and urban design practice. With operations across Australia, Asia, UK and the Middle East, our studios believe in the power of regenerative design to shape communities and rebuild natural environments.
Our Finance team forms a part of the global Hub Group (think Marketing, IT, People & Capability, and our global Executive leaders) – together with our Commercial team, we support to nine (9) studios across over five (5) legal jurisdictions.
The Role
The Group Finance Manager is a key leadership role, directly reporting to our Co-CEOs and working closely with the Board to ensure financial health and enable sustainable growth across all studios with the support of our Finance team.
In this role, you will oversee global financial operations (including reporting, compliance, banking, forecasting, valuation, risk management, tax, and shareholder processes) while shaping the systems and frameworks that support our studios and practice.
You will work to standardise financial reporting in line with strategic goals, elevate global financial practices and systems to enable operational excellence, and provide financial insight and commercial oversight to support studio teams.
As a member of the Hub leadership team, you will also contribute to broader organisational strategy and help shape the future of ASPECT Studios.

About You

With a steady, solutions-focused mindset, you know how to influence, guide, and partner with stakeholders at every level to drive meaningful impact.
What you’ll bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field, plus a CPA, CA or equivalent.
- Senior finance leadership experience in multi-regional organisations (ideally with experience in Australia, UK, UAE, China and Vietnam)
- Exposure to design, architecture, construction, engineering or professional service industry.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to turn financial insights into real business decisions.
- Solid knowledge of financial governance, compliance and risk management.
- Experience leading high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement.
- Great communication and stakeholder management skills, including working with senior executives and boards.
- Hands-on experience with global financial operations and system standardisation.
- A passion for using technology to boost efficiency and scale.
