Marketing and Bids Manager
Whilst we currently seek applicants based in Melbourne, we are open to considering those based in Sydney or Brisbane. This role is also open to full‑time or part‑time (minimum 30 hours) arrangements, and we welcome conversations about location and/or flexibility.
ASPECT Studios is a purpose‑oriented, design‑led landscape architecture, urban design and wayfinding practice with studios across Australia, Asia, the UK and the Middle East. We believe in the power of design to positively change people’s behaviour and lives, the environment, and the planet. We are seeking to become leaders in regenerative design, going beyond sustainability and harm minimisation to enhance and repair our natural world and our communities.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Bids Manager to join our global Hub team (People and Capability, Information Technology, Finance and Commercial and Operations) to support the delivery of clear, consistent and high‑quality outputs across the practice. This is a senior, stand‑alone role that works closely with studio leaders, project teams, practice leadership and our external marketing partners. Reporting to the Co-CEOs and working alongside our fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will play a key role in implementing our near‑term priorities and supporting the ongoing evolution of our marketing strategy.
The Role
You will manage and maintain ASPECT’s core marketing platforms, including the website and social media channels, ensuring content is accurate, current and consistently presented across studios. This includes coordinating updates to project content and profiles, managing templates, photography and brand files, and working with external web and marketing partners.
You will coordinate day‑to‑day marketing activity across the practice, supporting studios to surface projects, people and achievements; scheduling and managing project photography and post‑production; and ensuring timelines and inputs are well managed. Acting as a key point of connection with our outsourced marketing support, you will monitor media coverage and opportunities and support responses or contributions as needed.
You will also maintain marketing performance reporting, tracking website and campaign performance, maintaining dashboards and activity logs, and working with studios and external advisors to interpret results, identify trends and surface opportunities for improvement.
Awards management is a core part of the role, including maintaining an annual awards calendar, identifying submission opportunities with studios, coordinating inputs, approvals and timelines.
You will support the coordination and preparation of bid submissions, with a particular focus on supporting our smaller Australian studios. This includes setting up and quality‑checking bid documents, coordinating inputs from project teams, consultants and leaders, managing bid collateral such as CVs and project sheets, and maintaining bid libraries, templates and systems to ensure materials are current, consistent and accessible.
The role is broadly weighted toward marketing coordination (60%) and bids (40%).
About You
You’re highly organised, proactive and detail‑oriented, with a genuine enjoyment of working across studios to manage multiple priorities and support teams to put their best thinking forward.
You’re comfortable working autonomously while remaining strongly collaborative. You bring confidence in juggling competing demands, connecting people and information, and keeping work moving in a dynamic, distributed studio environment.
You’ve likely held a senior role within a team or operated independently, navigating a broad range of internal stakeholders and deadlines with assurance and professionalism.
You bring experience across marketing, brand and bids coordination, ideally within a design‑led or professional services context. You’re a strong written communicator, confident working with systems, templates and processes, and proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with website CMS platforms will be well regarded.
